With a normal round wire grill rack oils & fats simply fall between the bars onto the hot burner or coals causing flare up
With a Grillstream grill rack the patented upper and lower bars work together to prevent flare ups by attracting the oil & fats and then stream it away into the collection vessel for easy disposal later
